Disputes can significantly disrupt your business and your personal life. The time and costs involved may escalate and the issues may appear unsurmountable. But there is a way out of the months of costs and uncertainty.
We believe that every dispute can be resolved. Sometimes it just takes a bit of independent and impartial support to get there.
Mediation is a valuable process which gives all parties involved the space to air their concerns, with the other party or privately with the mediator as a neutral third party, and explore creative and alternative routes to reconciliation.
Our approach is to ensure that everybody is heard, and feels like they have been listened to. A settlement reached through mediation will only stand the test of time if it is the product of two-way traffic which all parties recognise as their own.
Maybe resolution looks like a cash payment. Maybe it’s more like a year’s supply of free products. Mediation comes with no preconceptions as to what form settlement may take, and the process is driven by the parties involved. The mediator is there to guide and facilitate, not impose any decisions or opinions.
We will talk to all parties (or their representatives) ahead of time, and come to the day fully prepared with knowledge of the situation. The mediation will be a series of confidential meetings with each party separately and in conference, if appropriate. When it comes to reaching settlement on the day, we will provide a template to help record that settlement in a legally binding way.
